Nate Diaz Dismisses Khabib vs. McGregor, Proclaims “This The Real Title Fight”

UFC superstar Nate Diaz has not competed inside the octagon since his two bout octagon war with Conor McGregor. Now the Stockton native is set to face off against tough lightweight contender Dustin Poirier at UFC 230.

The two mixed martial artists will battle it out in the co-main event of UFC 230 on Nov. 3 in Madison Square Garden in New York, live on pay-per-view. During the recent UFC 25th Anniversary Press Conference, a media member asked Nate Diaz if he believes his fight against Dustin Poirier is a “semi-final” to getting to the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.

Nate Diaz quickly dismissed the notion with the simple response, “This is a championship fight right here.” Check it out within the video above.
