UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is riding consecutive decision victories over tough division contender Yoel Romero at the moment. With the two fights having garnered serious attention from fight fans for their intensity, many are hopeful for a trilogy rematch.
Robert Whittaker, however, has seemingly been more interested in facing off against new opponents. The champion is now set to coach the next season of The Ultimate Fighter across from Kelvin Gastelum in promotion for their eventual title fight.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Robert Whittaker has since come forward to reveal that he recently had to make a 15 hour flight from his home country of Australia back to the United States with his three toddler children.
Speaking on the experience, Whittaker revealed that he would prefer to fight Yoel Romero every weekend than experience the lengthy flight again.
“I would fight Yoel and someone else every Saturday to not make that flight again.” Whittaker said. Check out the champion’s full thoughts within the video provided below.
