UFC phenom Nate Diaz shocked the world when he shocked out Conor McGregor on short notice in their first octagon war. Diaz and the Ireland native have since gone 1-1 in their heated rivalry.
After taking out “Notorious,” Diaz rose to megastar status within the sport. With the Stockton native now set to fight tough lightweight contender Dustin Poirier in the co-main event of UFC 230, the UFC has now decided to do some interesting promoting for Nate Diaz.
Snoop Dogg has become an icon within the world of MMA over the years. The hip-hop legend first gained attention within the MMA community for his consistent attendance at UFC events, as the rapper quickly became friends with UFC President Dana White.
Snoop Dogg would go on to become a color-commentator for the Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on the UFC’s proprietary streaming service UFC Fight Pass. Now the UFC has decided to name Nate Diaz and Snoop Dogg the “iconic duo” of the promotion.
