Abu Dhabi Royals Sell Back Their UFC Ownership Interest

Flash Entertainment, a subsidiary to the Abu Dhabi government, purchased a minority share in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) back in 2010. However, it would appear that the company has since decided to sell out of the promotion.

Flash Entertainment purchased 10 percent of the UFC way back when. While the UFC was sold to Endeavor for over $ 4 billion back in 2016, Flash Entertainment retained control of their 10 percent ownership within the promotion.

Speaking to Arabian Business, Flash Entertainment CEO John Lickrish recently revealed that Endeavor has now purchased their 10 percent minority share in the UFC from the company.

“After almost 10 years the time was right to exit that investment.” While a selling point was not revealed, the 10 percent share was initially purchased for $200 million.
