Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has stirred up quite a bit of controversy throughout his career. Now it would appear that hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg has mistaken Darren Till for the former title holder.
Colby Covington was initially being targeted for a fight against reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. However, Covington received a surgery that sidelined the fighter for months.
Consequently, Darren Till went on to face Tyron Woodley in the main event of UFC 228 on Sept. 8. Colby Covington was stripped of his interim belt at the start of the fight.
Colby Covington has drawn come controversy for many of his statements, including his often pro-Donald Trump heated remarks over social media. Taking to the internet, Snoop Dogg has now posted a video of himself yelling at his television screen as Tyron Woodley pummelled Darren Till over the weekend.
However, it would appear that Snoop Dogg believed Darren Till shared the political agenda of Colby Covington. Check it out within the video above.
Darren Till has since fired back with a response, as seen down below. Till suffered a second round submission loss to the champion on Saturday.
