Former UFC welterweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes is a legend within the sport of mixed martial arts. During the recent screening of the former title holder’s new documentary “A Country Boy Can Survive,” UFC President Dana White and Matt Hughes enjoyed a touching moment.
Matt Hughes was involved in a devastating and quite nearly fatal accident. The fighter’s vehicle was struck by a train, leading to Hughes being air lifted to a nearby hospital. After emerging from a coma, Hughes has since begun his long journey to a remarkable recovery.
