The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be hosting the massive fight card of UFC 229 later this year. Now UFC President Dana White has come forward to claim that the massive pay-per-view may sell millions.
UFC 229 is set to take place Oct. 6 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The live pay-per-view event will be headlined by former two-division champion Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight title holder Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Speaking to Yahoo Sports, UFC President Dana White has revealed that he believes the event will sell a massive total of over 2 million PPVs.
“It’s going to be huge. It’s trending as big as anything we’ve ever done.”
“I am confident it will do 2 million on pay-per-view.”
