The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to host one of the year’s most highly anticipated fight cards. With that in mind, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion recently hosted a press conference for the event.
UFC 229 is set to take place Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view for fight fans worldwide. Headlining the night’s event, Conor McGregor will be facing off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for the night’s main event.
In promotion for the fight card, the UFC hosted a press conference at Thursday, Sept. 20, from within Radio City Music Hall in New York. During the conference, McGregor and Nurmagomedov earned a chance to stare down with each other.
During the staredown, Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz began antagonizing “Notorious” and was ultimately asked by UFC President Dana White to leave the event. Check out the intense moment within the video provided above.
