UFC superstar Conor McGregor mad headlines on April 5 for throwing a hand truck through the window of a UFC charter bus. The attack was an attempt to confront UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Since then, “Notorious” has reached a plea deal with the New York court system and is now set to face the Dagestan native for his title in the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6. Speaking to ESPN, UFC President Dana White has since come forward to reveal what it is like working with “Notorious.”
“Conor works very well with us. We’ve worked very well with him. There are obviously certain things you have to deal with, with a Conor McGregor.”
“He’s worth it.”
“For example, the New York thing. The fact that he thought he could come here and have this beef with Khabib in the middle of New York City and the way that it was done, that’s obviously the craziest thing. Normal, typical stuff for Conor — showing up an hour late for the press conference.”
