While UFC megastar Conor McGregor is currently set to make his massive octagon return, the Ireland native is reportedly not doing media obligations for the upcoming match up. Now longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Conor McGregor is set to face off against UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 229. The live pay-per-view event will take place Oct. 6.
While the massive fight is now only a month away, “Notorious” has yet to do any promotion for the fight. Speaking on his podcast, UFC color-commentator Joe Rogan recently revealed that he believes Conor McGregor will only show up to the official UFC 229 weigh-ins and the UFC 229 main event fight itself.
“He’s not doing any press.” Rogan said. “He’s not doing sh*t. I think he basically said, ‘Listen, man, I’m gonna fight and that’s it. That’s what’s going to happen. Oct. 6, I’m going to fight and that’s it.'”
