UFC megastar Conor McGregor is now set to make his massive octagon return. With that in mind, it would appear that the former two-division UFC champion has locked down a massive fight contract with the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion.
“Notorious” is currently set to fight undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 229. The live pay-per-view will take place Oct. 6 in Las Vegas, Nev.
As reported by ESPN, UFC President Dana White has since come forward to claim that Conor McGregor has been signed over to the UFC for an eight-fight contract. White believes that the contract could potentially make McGregor more money than anyone within the sport.
“It’s not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he’s worth,” White told ESPN.
