Despite his fan’s best efforts, longtime UFC veteran and former title challenger Diego Sanchez has no intentions of retiring.
And why should he? The man’s the longest active UFC fighter on the roster today, and he just took out a young gun in Craig White, who he dominated thoroughly over the course of their three round fight.
But, despite his recent wins, Sanchez is reaching the history books as the most punched fighter in the sport’s history.
The stats guru has it:
Diego Sanchez has absorbed 1,168 total head strikes in his UFC career, the second most all-time. Still, he said he won't listen to anyone who claims he's punch drunk or should retire. #UFC228 https://t.co/bnqlE8k4lg
