Saturday night fight fans around the world were treated to an action packed rematch between Canelo Alvarez and GGG.
The fight lived up to the hype too, as both men took to the center of the ring, and engaged in toe-to-toe action for a full 12-rounds.
In the end Canelo Alvarez picked up a majority decision win, capturing GGG’s title in the process.
Being that the fight took place in Nevada, the salaries for both fighters have been disclosed to the public.
For their efforts, as reported by the Nevada Athletic Commission, Canelo Alvarez picked up a base sum of $5 Million, while GGG pocketed $4 Million.
That’s not the entire picture though, as industry insiders reveal that each fighter will bring home north of $50 Million after pay-per-view percentages are split.
That’s a lot of money, man!
