UFC megastar Conor McGregor is currently locked in to make his massive octagon return. While “Notorious” has reportedly turned down all media obligations so far leading up to the fight, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has since announced the first of two expected press conferences for the event.
Conor McGregor is set to face off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 229. The live pay-per-view event will take place Oct. 6 from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Leading up to the fight, McGregor has reportedly been denying media obligations, leaving many fight fans curious as to when the Ireland native will begin promoting the match up. Well, UFC President Dana White recently claimed that there would be two press conferences dedicated to promoting the event.
It has since been reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will each now be attending a press conference on Sept. 20. The first UFC media appearance from Conor McGregor concerning UFC 229 will take place from within the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
