The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is currently gearing up for one of the year’s most highly anticipated mixed martial arts events. With that in mind, it would appear that many of the officials for the fight card have been decided.
The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 229 is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 6. The live pay-per-view event will go down for fight fans worldwide from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Headlining the night’s event, UFC megastar Conor McGregor will be making his long awaited octagon return as he challenges undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for his title. MMA journalist Damon Martin has since reported that Dominick Cruz, Joe Rogan and Jon Anik will be commentating cage side for the night’s event.
MMA Fighting has reported that the judges for the night’s main event will be Judges Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Junichiro Kamijo and referee Herb Dean will be the third man inside the octagon for the exciting headliner.
