Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza is currently getting ready for her next big octagon performance. Showing off her skills, the talented mixed martial artist recently entered the cage with a powerlifter.
Powerlifter Bart Kwan recently decided to put himself through a mixed martial arts workout at the behest of the “Cookie Monster.” After the workout, Kwan and Esparza had a little sparring session that quickly turned out of hand.
During the session, Esparza bloodied Kwan’s nose after submitted the powerlifter with an armbar. Check it out within the video provided above.
Carla Esparza is now set to fight Tatiana Suarez at UFC 228. The event will take place Sept. 8, live on pay-per-view.
