The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) put on a stunning press conference this week. Now it would appear that the recent event hit some seriously high numbers in viewership.
UFC 229 is set to take place Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view. The highly anticipated fight card will feature the massive octagon return of Conor McGregor, as the Ireland native will challenge undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for his title.
In promotion for the event, the UFC hosted a pre-fight press conference at Thursday, Sept. 20, in New York. While the event was closed to the public, it aired live in Times Square and on YouTube.
The live YouTube broadcast has nearly reached well over 3.4 million views and was trending as the #5 thing on YouTube during its airing. The history making UFC conference featured some heated moments from Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov and can be seen in full within the video provided below.
