Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin’s highly anticipated rematch is almost here. Now just a day away, the time has come to take a look at the official weigh-in results for the exciting event.
Alvarez and “GGG” first faced off inside the squared circle back in 2017. The bout ultimately went the distance, ending in a highly controversial majority draw.
The two pugilist phenoms were then set to rematch on May 5, 2018. However, the bout was cancelled after Alvarez failed a drug test.
Now scheduled for Sept. 15 from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., Alvarez and Golovkin are gearing up to throw down once again. Check out the official weigh-in results for the event down below.
