One Up One Down! First Canelo vs. GGG Bout Ends In KO

Fans are pouring into the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight for another great night of boxing. With the card now underway, the time has come to take a look at the boxing results.

Canelo Alvarez and champion pugilist Gennady Golovkin faced off back in 2017 within the same arena. However, the bout ended in a highly controversial majority draw.

The two boxers were scheduled for a rematch on May 5, 2018, but the bout was cancelled after Alvarez failed a drug test. Now, however, Alvarez and Golovkin are only moments away from steeping inside the squared circle.

This Saturday, Sept. 15, HBO is hosting a live pay-per-view event in anticipation for the exciting rematch. While Golovkin and Alvarez are set to square off inside the T-Mobile arena later tonight, there are a series of exciting match ups leading up to the title throwdown.

Kicking off the night’s main card, junior bantamweights Roman Gonzalez and Moises Fuentes battled it out for division supremacy.
