Mixed martial arts promotion Invicta FC is hosting another exciting night of fights this Saturday, Sept. 1. Now former UFC fighter Pearl Gonzalez is set to throw down inside the cage.
Invicta FC 31 is taking place within the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. tonight, offering fight fans a series of exciting match ups. Co-headlining the night’s event, Pearl Gonzalez is now going toe-to-toe with Daiane Firmino.
The first round was a dominant one for Pearl Gonzalez. The fighter quickly managed to get her opponent to the canvas. From there, the former UFC fighter grappled her way to a likely 10-8 round.
The second round went much of the same. Gonzalez swiftly took her opponent to the canvas once again. The fighter was unable to get a finish, but still managed to put on a dominant performance.
For the final round, Gonzalez nearly earned a finish over her opponent with an armbar. However, Firmino managed to survive the round. This one has gone the distance.
