UFC superstar Nate Diaz shocked the world when he choked out Conor McGregor on short notice back at UFC 196. Ever since then, the two world-class mixed martial artists have been in an incredibly heated rivalry.
The Stockton native first earned a submission victory over McGregor. However, “Notorious” earned a majority decision win in their highly anticipated and UFC pay-per-view record setting rematch.
During one of the press conferences, Nate Diaz brought the trash-talking with Conor McGregor to new heights by popularizing the phrase “touch butt.” Referencing Conor McGregor’s unique and unorthodox movement training with coach Ido Portal, Diaz claimed that “Notorious” was playing touch butt in the park rather than training.
Diaz’s longtime teammate and former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields would go on to post footage of Conor McGregor training with Ido Portal to enlighten fight fans on exactly what Diaz was referring too. Check out some of the footage within the video provided above.
