Nate Diaz accepted a short notice match up against Conor McGregor at UFC 196. “Notorious” had already earned the UFC featherweight championship and was on the warpath to achieving the lightweight title.
However, McGregor first faced Nate Diaz a 170 pounds on short notice. Diaz put on a stunning performance over the Ireland native, ultimately earning a submission victory.

Nate Diaz is now set to fight UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier in the co-main event of UFC 230. The event will take place Nov. 3, live on pay-per-view.
