UFC megastar Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov finally faced off at the first UFC 229 press conference on Thursday. During the event, “Notorious” decided to shout a little Gaelic Nurmagomedov’s way.
McGregor and “The Eagle” are set to headline UFC 229. The live pay-per-view event will take place Oct. 6 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
In promotion for the event, the UFC hosted a press conference today in New York. During the conference, “Notorious” began screaming at Nurmagomedov.
After a while, McGregor began yelling phrases like “bang of sh*te off ya” and “smell the sh*te off your da” in Gaelic. Of course, the conference ultimately ended with the two fighters squaring off for a staredown.
