In an automatic contender for fight of the year, Saturday night Canelo Alvarez defeated Triple G in a highly entertaining bout for the ages.
It was a close one, and many thought it could have gone either way. In the end though, the numbers really don’t lie, and according to the official CompuBox stats, Canelo had a solid advantage in power punches.

It is obvious that people look at different aspects of the fight & draw different conclusions. GGG out-jabbed Canelo 118-59 and due to that landed more punches 234-202. GGG is the longer fighter.
