UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway and undefeated contender Brian Ortega have been trying to get a fight together for some time now. Now it would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is targeting a fight between the two world-class competitors.
Speaking to TSN, UFC President Dana White recently revealed that a title fight between the two is being targeted for UFC 231.
“That’s the fight I want.” White said. “I believe that’s the fight we’ll get and we’ll see how this thing plays out.”
UFC 231 will take place Dec. 8 in Ontario, Canada, live on pay-per-view.
