UFC's Female Khabib Falls Former Champ Esparza

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza is now set to make her next big octagon performance. With the fight now underway, fans can take a look at the UFC results from the exciting match up.

The American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 228 tonight, Sept. 8. Appearing in the featured preliminary fight of the night, Carla Esparza and Tatiana Suarez are battling it out live on FX.

Tatiana Suarez fired off with a furry in the first round. The fighter quickly took Esparza to the canvas. From there, Suarez pummeled the former title holder with a series of damaging ground and pound. This was a dominant round for Tatiana Suarez.

The second round was much of the same. Suarez once again swiftly slammed her opponent into the canvas and began dominantly crashing down ground and pound against the former champion. This was yet another stunning five minutes for Suarez.

However, in the third round, Suarez managed to pummel her opponent quickly into a TKO finish.
