Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov leaped out of the octagon after submitting Conor McGregor at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. From there, the reigning champion attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis.
A massive brawl then broke out among the two opposing fight camps, all on live pay-per-view in what would become a record breaking UFC event. The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has since elected to freeze Khabib Nurmagomedov’s $2 million payday while the commission proceeds with an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov has been banned from the UFC for having allegedly attacked Conor McGregor. Nurmagomedov has since issued an ultimatum, claiming that he will leave the UFC if his teammate is not reinstated into the promotion.
During all of this, it would appear that hip-hop icon 50 Cent has been keeping a close eye. The rapper recently landed a partnership with competing promotion Bellator MMA. Now the musician plans to put it to full use.
Taking to Twitter, 50 Cent has come forward to offer to pay Khabib Nurmagomedov’s full $2 million for the Dagestan native to come fight for Bellator MMA. Check it out below.
“I think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator.”
