After Khabib Nurmagomedov dominantly finished mixed martial arts megastar, the reigning UFC lightweight champion decided to call out undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now, however, it would appear that the Dagestan native has once condition for their match up.
Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor in the fourth round of UFC 229 on Saturday, Oct. 6. Following the bout, a video of Nurmagomedov with Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe has since hit the internet.
Conor McGregor suffered a tenth round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the squared circle back in 2017, having earned “Notorious” the payday of his career with an estimated $100 million. Within the footage provided above, Khabib Nurmagomedov can be seen calling out Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a match of his own.
“Hey, let’s go, Floyd. We have to fight now. 50-0 vs. 27-0. Two guys never lose. Let’s go. Why not? Because in the jungle, only one king. Only one king. Of course, I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor but I drop him easily. Let’s go.”
Taking to Twitter, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has since fired back with a response of his own. It would appear that the 50-0 boxing legend is into the possible match up.

However, Khabib Nurmagomedov has since taken to Instagram to reveal that he has no interest in facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas, Nev.
“@floydmayweather But no Vegas, they won’t pay my money.”
After submitting Conor McGregor back at UFC 229, Khabib Nurmagomedov leaped out of the cage and attacked one of McGregor’s teammates. The incident sparked a fracas among the two opposing fight camps.
Consequently, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has since frozen Khabib Nurmagomedov’s massive $2 million payday as an investigation into the UFC 229 brawl is completed. Now it would appear that the incident has spurned Khabib Nurmagomedov from returning to Las Vegas, Nev.
