The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to make its big debut in Argentina later this year. That being said, the upcoming fight card has already lost two of the event’s scheduled match ups.

UFC Fight Night 140 is set to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from within the Parque Roca Arena on Nov. 17. The event will make for the UFC’s first fight card within the country.
A featherweight match up between Enrique Barzola and Nad Narimani was initially set to take place on the card. However, Barzola has since reportedly pulled out of the fight due to an injury.
UFC women’s strawweights Maryna Moroz and Ariane Lipski were also originally set to compete on the card. However, Moroz has since gone to social media to reveal that she has pulled out of the fight after suffering a broken foot. This makes for the second fight cancellation at UFC Argentina within just under one week.
“Hi friends. I am very sad I got injured and not be able to have a fight. I want to say thank you my team @gor__mma. this is a sport.”
