Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA recently hosted an exciting night of fights. With the event now in the books, the time has come to take a look at the medical suspensions from the recent fight card.
The highly anticipated fight card for Bellator 208 took place Oct. 13 for fight fans around the world. Headlining the night’s card, UFC veteran Chael Sonnen faced off against mixed martial arts legend Fedor Emelianenko in the semi-finals of the Bellator heavyweight tournament grand prix.
Emelianenko made short work of his opponent, ultimately earning a first round TKO victory over the fighter. As reported by MMA Fighting, the medical suspensions from the event have since been released.
