UFC megastar Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are just a day away from battling it out inside the octagon. With that in mind, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NCAC) has since come forward with a disclosure of the two world-class mixed martial artists massive paydays.
“Notorious” and the Dagestan native will fight it out for the belt within the main event of UFC 229. The live pay-per-view card will take place this Saturday, Oct. 6, from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto has since come forward to report that the NSAC has disclosed Conor McGregor’s pay for UFC 229 at a total $3 million. Meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov will earn $2 million. These numbers, however, do not include pay-per-view points or Reebok outfitting payouts.
UFC President Dana White has gone on to claim that UFC 229 is trending to smash the promotion’s pay-per-view sales record with a projected number perhaps over 3 million. Consequently, Nurmagomedov and McGregor will likely earn much more than their disclosed flat payments from the year’s most highly anticipated event.
