Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor will make his octagon return this weekend. In promotion for the fight, “Notorious” appeared at the recent UFC 229 open workouts and offered quite the show.
UFC 229 is set to take place this Saturday, Oct. 6, from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The live pay-per-view event will be headlined by Conor McGregor, as the fighter takes on UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Appearing roughly 30 minutes late for the recent UFC 229 open workouts, Conor McGregor went on to address his adoring fans. Referring to Nurmagomedov as a “smelly, Dagestani rat,” McGregor quickly whipped the crowd into a roar.
