Two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar entered a scuffle back at UFC 226. Now D.C. has come forward to shed some light on his thoughts following the incident.
Daniel Cormier shocked the world with a first round knockout of Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title back at UFC 226. In his post-fight interview, Cormier went on to call out Brock Lesnar for his next fight.
The cage side former champion quickly entered the octagon and shoved D.C., all on live pay-per-view. Of course, Lesnar is still serving out the final months of his suspension from a drug test failed back at UFC 200.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cormier is set to fight Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 on Nov. 3. Speaking at the recent UFC 230 media day, D.C. offered a few words on his scuffle with Brock Lesnar.
“When I was in there with Lesnar on July 7 and he pushed me, I was like, ‘Holy (expletive),’ I’m having a WrestleMania moment. I’ve got to be honest. I was having a WrestleMania moment. It was the greatest thing ever. I wanted to hit him, but my hand was hurting. He was big and I was kind of thrown off. His outfit was kind of jacked up. … I want to fight Brock. It will be fun.”
