Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has had weight management issues in the past. Consequently, some fight fans are curious as to how heavy the Dagestan native is ahead of his next match up.
Khabib Nurmagomedov is set to face off against former two-division champion Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229. The fight will take place Oct. 6 from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Now reigning two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier has come forward in an interview with TMZ Sports to reveal that Khabib Nurmagomedov is roughly 166 pounds ahead of the match up.
“He’ll make weight.” Cormier said. “He’s fine. He’s like 11 pounds overweight.”
