Daniel Cormier is the reigning heavyweight and light heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). D.C. is currently targeting a fight against Brock Lesnar within the heavyweight division. Meanwhile, the champion is resting up from a recent injury.
Speaking on the UFC Unfiltered podcast, UFC President Dana White revealed that the UFC will likely end up stripping Daniel Cormier of one of his titles.
“Cormier is hurt right now. He broke his hand in the Stipe [Miocic] fight. So when they’re in these types of situations, much like the Conor [McGregor] situation and others that it’s happened to, Georges St-Pierre, whoever, Cormier by tying up two belts is going to have to give up one of the belts.”
