Conor McGregor will be throwing down with Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight title on Saturday, Oct. 6. The fight will take place for the live pay-per-view main event of UFC 229.
Speaking to former UFC fighter turned analyst and commentator Dan Hardy, UFC President Dana White has come forward with a statement over the matter.
“If he beats Khabib, I think he finally gets the credit he deserves. Even the biggest Conor McGregor haters, if he beats Khabib you have to admit this guy is one of the best of all time.”
