Starring Hollywood veteran Stephen Dorff, a film titled Embattled is currently in development. The film is set to feature a mixed martial artist being set to face his own son inside the cage. Now it would appear that the film has picked up some MMA notables to join the production.
As reported by Fansided, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and veteran UFC fighter Donald Cerrone will be featured in the movie. Likewise UFC’s Eryk Anders and Kenny Florian are also set to make appearances within the film.
Speaking to Variety, Embattled producer Nick Sarkisov has since come forward with a few words on the casting decision.
“It’s been really important to me that the film feels as authentic as possible and that it respects the world of MMA – from the fight choreography to the commentary to capturing the intense feeling of being in the cage. These guys are the real deal, and incorporating them into the film is helping us achieve that.”
