UFC megastar Conor McGregor made headlines on April 5, 2018. Despite having not fought inside the octagon since 2016, “Notorious” was on the tip of every fight fans’ tongue.
SBG Ireland’s Artem Lobov was in an altercation with Khabib Nurmagomedov days before, In retaliation, Conor McGregor threw a hand truck at a UFC charter bus window on April 5 in an attempt to rattle bus rider Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Of course, the charter bus was also filled with the other red corner fighters for UFC 223. Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were injured in the fracas and forced to pull out of their respective UFC 223 match ups.
McGregor entered trouble with the New York court system, but ultimately struck a plea deal that had all of his criminal charges dropped. Speaking to MMA Fighting, UFC women’s strawweight Felice Herrig has now come forward to reveal that she still does not approve of “Notorious.”
“What he did was wrong. I still think he’s a piece of sh*t and I’m always going to think he’s a piece of sh*t.”
