Former UFC Champ Benson Henderson Dominates Opponent In Bellator 208’s Co-Main Event | Bellator Results

Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA is currently hosting another exciting night of fights. With the evening’s co-main event now underway, the time has come to check out the Bellator results from the stunning match up.

The highly anticipated fight card Bellator 208 is going down tonight, Oct. 13, from within Uniondale, New York. Co-headlining the fight card, former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson is facing off against Saad Awad in a battle for division dominance.

Henderson put on a dominant performance against Awad in the first round. The fighter fired off with a fury, quickly landing a series of power shots on his opponent. Awad was eventually taken down to the canvas, where the fighter spent the rest of the round struggling to get back to his feet.

In the second round, Henderson fired off with more stunning strikes. Landing powerful body kicks, the former UFC champion began to wear down his opponent before finally landing a takedown. Benson Henderson locked in an arm triangle choke in the final moments of the round, but Awad was able to survive the submission attempt until the sound of the bell.

Henderson locked in a takedown early in the final round as well. This time, however, Benson Henderson grabbed the cage to improve his position. Rather than take a point, the night’s referee decided to stand the fighters up.

Awad then dropped his opponent with a stunning right hand. However, Henderson quickly took his opponent back to the canvas. This one, however, has gone the distance.

Bellator Results: Benson Henderson def. Saad Awad via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26)
