Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov put on a stunning performance over the weekend. However, the Dagestan native’s antics outside of the octagon have since taken the proverbial spotlight. Now UFC President Dana White has decided to make light of the situation with a new message.
Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off against Conor McGregor at UFC 229 on Saturday, Oct. 6. The undefeated title holder earned a submission victory within the fourth round.
However, Nurmagomedov quickly leaped out of the octagon and began attacking McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis shortly after. The incident sparked a fracas between the fight camps of the two fighters.
Now UFC President Dana White has decided to provide some levity to the situation with a new message. Referencing Khabib Nurmagomedov’s reported wrestling bout with a bear cub in his youth, Dana White offered the following message.
