Now nearing eligibility once again, it would appear that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has now locked in massive octagon return.
Jon Jones failed a drug test back at UFC 214. As it was not the former champion’ first offense, many fighters and fight fans expected “Bones” Jones to receive a multiple-year suspension.
However, Jones was issued a 15-month suspension that will see the former title holder eligible to compete once again on Oct. 28, 2018. Now ESPN’s Ariel Helwani has come forward to report that Jon Jones is officially set to fight Alexander Gustafsson in a rematch at UFC 232. The event will take place Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be featured live on pay-per-view.
