Jessica Penne Backs Ups Former Champ Carla Esparza, Campaigns For New UFC Division

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza and women’s strawweight competitor Jessica Penne are now seemingly both on board with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) adding in a new division. Now the two fighters have decided to take to the internet.

Both fighters are now campaigning for the UFC to implement a 105 pound atomweight division. Check it out within the social media posts provided below.

“Women’s MMA has come so far these last few years! Since November 2012, the UFC has welcomed 4 female divisions!! To make this complete, I think the 105lb ATOMWEIGHT DIVISION needs to be brought in! There are so many exciting match ups to be made in this stacked division, with myself included! If you agree and want to see the UFC welcome the atomweights, please share this post and tag @ufc @danawhite @mickmaynard @seanshelby #ufcatomweight”

“You know this #atomweight is all for this! Would love my division to be added to the @ufc . There are so many good matchups!!!”
