Former ONE welterweight champion Ben Askren is currently nearing a fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With that in mind, it would appear that Jon Jones’ manager may have had some involvement with the negotiations.

The UFC is currently negotiating with ONE Championship to trade former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson for Ben Askren. The negotiations have yet to be finalized, but are reportedly nearly completed.
Taking to Twitter, Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ manager Malki Kawa has since come forward to goad Ben Askren into thanking him for something in which the manager “made it happen.”

Ben Askren was quick to respond with a complimentary message.

Kawa quickly responded, goading the fighter once again.
