Khabib Finishes Conor, Then Russians Jump Cage And Jump Conor In Crazy Post Fight Melee

The time has finally come. Former two-division UFC champion and mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor is now set to make his massive octagon return. Check out the UFC results from the match up down below.

Conor McGregor has not competed inside the octagon since back in 2016. Now, however, the Ireland native is facing off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the most highly anticipated fight of the year.

“Notorious” and the 26-0 Dagestan native are battling it out for the live pay-per-view main event of UFC 229. The massive fight card is taking place inside the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight, Oct. 6, for fight fans around the world.

Now the two world-class mixed martial artists are throwing down inside the octagon for fight fans worldwide. Check out the UFC results from the stunning match up down below.

The two world-class fighters each fired off with a furry. McGregor landed a few choice shots, but Khabib Nurmagomedov swiftly took the Ireland native down and spent much of the round in a dominant position from the canvas. However, the champion was unable to land many shots on McGregor.

Khabib Nurmagomedov landed a tough shot early in the second round that stunned “Notorious.” Conor McGregor attempted to recover from the strike, but the Dagestan native staid on him with more tough shots. Taking him to the canvas, Nurmagomedov slammed his opponent with a slurry of strikes. However, McGregor was able to weather the storm until the sound of the bell.

The final round was a stunning one. Khabib Nurmagomedov began standing and trading with Conor McGregor, landing some stunning shots. However, “Notorious” appeared to be getting the better of his opponent in the stand up. “The Eagle” still managed to get his opponent to the canvas a few times before the end of the round.

Khabib choked out Conor, then jumped the cage, attacked Dillon Danis then a Russian jumped the cage and attacked Conor.

Khabib remains champion.
