Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Saturday, Oct. 6. The reigning title holder then jumped out of the octagon and sparked a massive brawl between the opposing fight camps.
Speaking on the Anik And Florian Podcast, veteran voice of the octagon Bruce Buffer has since come forward to reveal his thoughts on the incident.
“It’s one of those enigmas and we have to get through it and move on,” Bruce Buffer said. “No call for it; no reason for it. The amazing cool cat, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has now become the ultimate villain. It’s amazing how things change overnight.”
