Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is now set to throw down with mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor. With the fight now only days away, the Dagestan native has come forward with a critical message concerning his opponent’s fight fans.
Nurmagomedov and McGregor are set to throw down within the main event of UFC 229. The event will take place Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view. Speaking to former UFC fighter turned analyst and commentator Dan Hardy, Khabib Nurmagomedov recently offered his thoughts on what the atmosphere inside the T-Mobile Arena will be like come fight night.
“I think it’s going to be very interesting atmosphere.” Nurmagomedov said. “A lot of Irish fans are going to come. A lot of my fans are going to come. I think UFC have to put a lot of security there because his fans are going to be drunk.”
