Khabib’s Dad Personally Invited Conor McGregor To Dagestan, For New Round Of Peace Talks

Leading up to UFC 229, tensions grew increasingly high between the fight camps of Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. “Notorious” took his trash talking to new heights for the event, having even called Nurmagomedov’s father a coward.

Well, Nurmagomedov went on to submit McGregor within the fourth round of UFC 229 on Oct. 6. The still undefeated UFC lightweight champion then leaped out of the octagon and attacked one of McGregor’s teammates.

From there, a brawl broke out between the fight camps of the two competitors. As reported by tellerreport.com, Nurmagomedov’s coach and father has since decided to forgive Conor McGregor for his pre-fight trash-talking.

“I forgive all this, you have to be merciful,” Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov stated. The UFC champion’s father then invited Conor McGregor to attend the world championship for Professional Combat Sambo on Dec. 15 in their native Dagestan.
