In what is being called the most awful incident in UFC history, on what was being called the biggest night in UFC history, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov attacked Dillon Danis after hopping over the cage following his UFC 229 win.
What happened next was nothing short of a full blown brawl, with post-fight punches being thrown both in and out of the Octagon.
Khabib’s father is known as a very strict and distinguished man, and he garners a lot of respect in their country.
Now, the man who made the champ wrestle bears when he was a kid, has spoken out against his son’s actions.
Here’s his father’s reaction to the incident:
“This, for sure, I did not teach him for octagon. In this case, the idea of Imam Shamil. He is not a brave man who thinks about the consequences. How do you appreciate the distinguished fans of this act ???”
