Las Vegas Police Release Statement On Saturday’s UFC 229 Brawl

Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off against Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Saturday. After choking out “Notorious” for a fourth round victory, Nurmagomedov leaped out of the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis.

A brawl between the two fighters’ camps quickly ensued. Speaking to MMA Fighting, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department offered the following statement.

“LVMPD officers assisted with breaking up several small fights that took place after Saturday night’s UFC main event in Las Vegas. After all parties were separated, no one involved wished to press charges and no arrests occurred.”
