Miesha Tate put on a stunning career within the sport of mixed martial arts. As a former Strikeforce champion, Tate would go on to climb the rankings of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) before eventually earning the UFC women’s bantamweight title.
However, Tate called an end to her career back in 2016 after suffering a two fight losing streak. Speaking at a recent media scrum, Miesha Tate revealed that the door is always open for a possible octagon return.
“It’s one of those things that I just haven’t really thought about, to be honest. I have been so happy just being a mom. I’m very fulfilled in that. I know that the door is always open if that calling does come back to me, so I’m just kinda letting it be.”
